Winddown Week. Managing one's publishing time.

Winddown Week, content publishing wise. What is this? Well, if you check over through X @thornemedia you can see a tweet or 2 to this effect in action! You can also read up a little more about it through my LinkedIn.

Importantly, if I was constantly pumping words (and pictures) out 24/7/365, it wouldn't take long before I was completely frazzled & worn out. (And I have been there in the past. Live & learn folks.) So some time ago, I told myself that every 4th week per month would be a chance for me to step off the gas in this respect, and give myself a break from noise making for a few days. Funnily enough, I have also found that as soon as this period of rest kicks in, I actually tend to start publishing *more* - for a short space of time anyways. (Cold turkey effect working perhaps.) Now my blog is revived, instead of falling into my old traps, I thought I'd divert my attention to redressing my rationale, as much as anything to help purge the urge in me to waffle on too much.

Extra tip: lack of action does not mean lack of results. (Less is more, right.) Even just 1 week off publishing relieves so much chance to reflect on the month's events, digest my thoughts on them, and then I come back (in my own mind at least) far better refreshed and ready to tackle next month's chatter head on from day 1.

Any ideas/comments/etc on this.. Do just let me know. 😏
